SLC is delighted to announce that Richard Leman has been appointed as Chairman of SLC to lead the SLC Board in its plans for growth.
Richard was a member of the Gold Medal winning Great Britain Hockey squad in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.
Richard has been the President of Great Britain Hockey and a director of the British Olympic Association for the last decade. He also has owned and developed a number of successful service businesses and is based in West Sussex.
On his appointment, Richard commented “Having watched Duncan grow SLC for several years, I am delighted to join the Board as Chairman. This is an exciting time for the team and I aim to support SLC as much as I can as it continues to expand. Most importantly, I will also be there for the all the team at SLC to provide guidance and support as necessary.”
Managing Director, Duncan Wood-Allum, also said “Richard’s experience of developing numerous successful business will be invaluable to SLC as we continue to grow and develop as a company. Since we’ve worked with him in 2014, he has already made a significant impact to SLC and we’re excited about our future prospects under his chairmanship. The fact he was one of my sporting heroes when I was a young international hockey player is a real bonus!”
