Duncan Wood-Allum, Director of SLC said, “On behalf of the wider team, I’d like to thank all our clients for their support over the last 12 months. We’re very lucky to have forged such strong relationships to support our plans for growth. We’re very proud of the work we have delivered which is delivering tangible results and outcomes. We moved into new offices this year and are settled into an excellent location in Haywards Heath, just 45 minutes from London. We have enhanced our design and landscape design capability through Chris Wood Architect, Cunnane Town Planning and forged stronger links with strategic partners such as FMG and 4Global.
“This year heralded SLC joining the Pro5 Framework for local government in partnership with Red Quadrant, enabling us to be procured quickly and cost effectively by our local government clients. We’ve also been active in our pro bono activity through sported. the charity aimed at developing opportunities for disadvantaged youth, having mentored two boxing clubs in the South in the last 12 months.
“SLC appointed Research Consultant Anna Dalton from an internship and she’s making a real difference to the business. We’re also delighted to be working closely with our Associates such as Paul Weston, Mike Piet, Carl Bennett, Phil Collins, Elizabeth Oxborrow-Cowan and Alex Burrows who deliver such excellent quality work for SLC’s clients. We will continue to develop our leading propositions linked to Public Health and well-being through our relationship with Carl Bennett building on a successful year.
“Looking ahead, SLC will continue to have an opinion on key sector issues and promote intelligent debate through its very popular online forum which has over 525 senior managers as members. SLC will also be running its respected Think Tank series on Leisure Procurement and Contract Renegotation in Autumn 2013. So after a super 12 months, we’re looking forward to a 5th year of consecutive growth and working with more great clients on interesting projects”
